Online counseling is concerned guardians from all over Greece and abroad, offering direct access to a specialized veterinary nutritional support, via a web session (with the use of the platform Google Meet) or over the phone. After the collection and evaluation of the history, examination and the information available, provided personalized dietary recommendations or a suitable dietary plan, depending on the needs of the incident.
The distance guidance is feasible in animals that have ideal body weight, and/or animals with already diagnosed medical condition that requires a special diet. In the cases of animals underweight, overweight, obese or animals with suspected disease associated with diet, the web-based guidance is possible only through cooperation with the attending veterinarian of the animal, as the clinical examination and the examinations are necessary.
